EVALUATION OF QUALITY OF LIFE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH BOARDING RANGES IN PATIENTS WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (M.S.) M.S. COMMUNITY IN URMIA

Background & Aims: MS disease is one of the most common and most important neurological disorders and considering that quality of life as a mental sensation is a psychological phenomenon that may be associated with personality traits such as daily preferences and night rhythms one of the factors contributing to the quality of life of the patients is one day. Therefore, the present study was conducted to determine the quality of life and its relationship with the type of boarding in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) MS in Urmia city.
Materials & Methods: The final sample was 214 people (92 males and 122 females) who were selected by available sampling method. To collect relevant data, questionnaires were used: A) WHOQOL-BREF Short Life Questionnaire (WHOQOL-BREF); B) The standard questionnaire of Horn-Asterger type boarding ranges; and for data analysis and interpretation, correlation coefficient and multivariate regression were used.
Results: The results of the study indicated that there is a significant relationship between quality of life and middle-time type, and the relationship between quality of life and other types of boarding is insignificant. Also, in assessing the predictability of power, the results indicated that mid-range boarding types with a 5.9% ability to predict the variable quality of life.
Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that there is no significant relationship between quality of life and type of boarding (except midday type) in patients (MS).
