Background & Aims: With increasing elderly population, the incidence of visual impairment and its related problems are also increasing that impacts their quality of life. This study aims to determine the quality of life among the elderly with visual impairment referring to low vision clinic in Booali Sina Hospital, Qazvin. Material and Methods: This descriptive-analytic study was conducted as cross-sectional. Through convenience sampling method, 94 visually impaired elderly admitted to the visual clinic with acuity less than 6/18 were selected to participate in this study. The VFQ-25 questionnaire was used for collecting the data. The data were analyzed by Pierson, Results: The results of the study showed that the quality of life of the participants was in moderate level (53.24±23.29). The highest mean score was for driving (10.71±2.80) and near vision (7.76±2.86) and the lowest mean score was for daily living activities (1.67±1.39), general health (3.37±1.24) and independency (4.09±2.82). Furthermore, it was observed a significant association between quality of life and age (p= 0/03, r = -0.22) and marital status (p= 0/00, r= -0.32). Conclusion: Due to low level of quality of life of the studied participants, their life quality promotion should be considered as an essential plan for policymakers. Providing the programs to introduce the rehabilitation services and how to use them could be led to obtain this goal.
