EVALUATION OF REMEDIAL SERVICES QUALITY OF HOSPITALS BY USING SERVQUAL SCALE (CASE STUDY: EDUCATING HOSPITALS DEPENDENCE TO MEDICINE UNIVERSITY OF YAZD) AR Rajabipoor Meybodi , MA D Farid , PhD, T Rajabipoor Meybodi , BSc Received: 16 Aug, 2009 Accepted: 25 Oct, 2009 Abstract: Background & Aims: Patient is an essential axis in hospital and all services performed for him. His satisfaction and consent show the right performance of servicesthis consent is not obtained merely with high technology, but satisfaction is more resulting from the behavior of the staff and their performance. Medicine competition between hospitals for decreasing the costs and increasing revenues are prosperous. In this paper, factors affecting the consent of patients in teaching hospitals of Yazd University of Medical Sciences and their satisfaction of these factors were identified and measured. Materials & Methods: The study population included over 150 people in teaching hospitals of Yazd. The service quality evaluation method was Servqual. The required data were gathered using a questionnaire. Results: There are differences between important tangible factors such as assurance, responsiveness and sympathy from a highly regarded hospital.
