  Comparison of hardiness in different levels of religiosity in nurses     Gorbanalipour M [1] *, Yagobi H [2]     Received: 1 Aug, 2011 Accepted: 1 Nov, 2011     Abstract:   Background & Aims : Effects of religion on mental health has been debated for years, nevertheless only in the last half century have these theories been empirically tested. The purpose of this study was to compare hardiness in different level of religiosity.   Materials & Methods : In this study 100 nurses (41 male and 59 female) were selected with cluster sampling from nurses in Urmia. Gholzary religiosity scale and Kobasa hardiness scales were administrated to them. The samples were divided into high, moderate and low group on the basis of religiosity degree and were compared in hardiness degree with each other. Data analysis was done using analysis of variance.   Result : The result showed that there is a significant difference among level of religiosity and hardiness.
