Intruduction: According to international statistics, 60% of populations are suffering from the diseases caused by sleeping disorers and widespread difficulties like cardiovascular, pulmonary, digestive and mental diseases are sleep disorders. Materials& methods: This study is a descriptive- comparative study in which the prevalence of parasomnia is comparaed between the male and female students inhabited Azad University of Dehaghan living in dormitories. Questioners were used to collect data. Samples inclued 700 students (350 girls and 350 boys) inhabited in the dormitories. They were selected by census method. Data was analyzed by SPSS software and descriptive and inferential statistics were used.Results: Finding showed that the average grade of parasomenia in boys is.44 (SD=0.76) and girls is 3.58 (SD=0.73).  There was significant statistical differences between boys and girls (p
