Thus the purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of spirituality group therapy on self-compassion and control of blood sugar in women with type 2 diabetes in the city of Eghlid. Material & Methods: The design of this research was quasi-experimental with pre-posttest and experimental and control group. Among women with type 2 diabetes who had recorded in the city of Eghlids health network, 30 subjects randomly selected and were assigned into two groups experimental and control (15 per group). In the pre-test, Neff self-compassion questionnaires (2003) completed by the participants and blood samples were taken from all subjects. The intervention spirituality group therapy was performed for 10 sessions of 90 minutes on the experimental group. Spss software version 19 was used for data analysis. Results: The results showed that the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable was significant and meaningful and spirituality therapy has affected on self-compassion and its dimensions (Self-kindness, Judge about yourself و Common humanities, Isolation, Mindfulness And Too replicated) and blood sugar diabetes. Conclusion: according to spirituality group therapy in patients with diabetes could promote the self-compassion and also control their blood sugar levels.
