With these interpretations, the essential role of nurses as a powerful arm of hospitals should be acknowledged. In addition to the services that nurses provide to patients, the type of communication and how they treat patients has a great impact on the treatment process and patient satisfaction It is possible to get the quality of communication with the patient and provide medical services to him is directly affected by the nurse's satisfaction. Satisfaction and comfort of nurses largely determine the quality of health care, so the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a variety of career paths on the psychological well-being of nurses in order to improve their productivity. Materials and Methods: This research is applied in terms of method and nature, including descriptive-correlational research and in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the present study is the nurses of public hospitals in Khorramabad in the period of October to December 2016. Given that the statistical population was 450 people, based on Morgan table, the sample size was estimated to be 210 people. The sampling method in this study is available sampling. To collect information, standard questionnaires were used and to measure the variable of various career paths, the questionnaire of Briscoe et al. (2006) and also to measure the psychological well-being variable, the Reef questionnaire (2002) was used.. For reliability (reliability) of internal consistency, two criteria of Cronbach's alpha coefficient and structural reliability (combined reliability) were used for the suitability of the measurement model. In this study, the mean extracted variance (AVE) was used to assess the convergent validity. The GOF index in the PLS model is a solution to check the overall fit of the model and is between zero one and values close to one indicate the appropriate quality of the model. Results: The value of Cronbach's alpha is more than 0.70 which indicates high internal compatibility. Also, the reliability of the structure (combined reliability) is obtained, which is more than 0.70 and according to Fornel and Larker (1981) has a good reliability. Also, the factor loads for the items were more than 0.40, which are statistically significant (acceptable) according to Hir et al. Convergent validity exists when the AVE is greater than 0.5. The value of all AVE obtained in this study is more than 0.50, which according to Fornel and Larker indicates the appropriate convergent validity. Structural equation modeling and PLS software were used to review and test the model. According to the value obtained for GOF of 0.595, a very suitable fit of the general model is confirmed. The results of structural equation modeling using Smart PLS software showed that the research hypothesis is confirmed at 95% confidence level. Conclusion: Results at 95% confidence level indicate a diverse career path has a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being. According to the research results, it can be found that giving nurses more independence and freedom of action has a positive effect on the psychological well-being of nurses. It is also possible to have a positive effect on the communication and quality of services provided by nurses by improving personal and specialized skills and creating a creative atmosphere in hospitals, which is itself a consequence of the satisfaction of this group.
