Introduction: Hepatitis B virus(HBV) is a major cause of the leading causes of hepatocellular carcinoma acute and chronic hepatitis. There is no specific treatment so, prevention with vaccination has been the best aim in managing viral hepatitis B.Since health workers areat high risk care 3-6 times more than other persons, fllowing measures must be recommended.observance of standard precautions, identification of high risk or infected personel, active or passive immunization, serologic tests for titer of antibody and other measures for protection of persones Methods and Materials: In this descriptive analytic study, 100 persones of Alavi eye center in Tabriz, referred to central laboratory for titrating hepatitis B antibody. Informed consent was obtaind from all subjects .After blood sampling, serum HBsAg and HBsAb titrated. Based on antibody titer, persons were divided to three groups: immune, partial immune and non immune. All information were tabulated in computer and analyzed with SPSS (11 edition) statistical software. Findings: Mean age of 100 participated persons was 37 years. Out of 100, 38% were male and 62% female and 12 % were smoker, 88%nonsmoker. Among 11% of persons, antibody titer was lower than 10 (non immune), 14 % between 10-100 (partial immune), and 75 % more than 100 (immune). 80% were nurses, 4 %labratory personnel, 6 % physicians and para medical personnel and 10 % service staff. According to this study antibody titer had meaning ful relationship with sex, smoking, duration of vaccination and regular vaccination. Conclusion: Since HBV are seen in health worker more than other persons so, identification of non immune personnel is necessary . For prevention of hepatitis B repetition of vaccination is recommended, because immunity decreases with duration of time.

The β-thalassemic major and patients refer for chemotherapy excluded from study. We applied spss ver10 software and statistical tests such as chi- square. Results: Results showed that among1026 cases evaluated in this study, prevalence of iron depleted and iron deficiency anemia was 15.1%, 21.3% respectively. Overall 36.4% of patients were in one of the stages of IDA and IRON DEFICIENCY, that there is significant association between abortion (p=0.008), menses status (P
