Many invasive and noninvasive methods for detection of this infection are available and among non invasive methods diagnostic value of specific IgM, IgG, and IgA antibodies by Eliza is one of the best methods. The aim of this study is to detect H.pylori antibodies for IgM, IgG and IgA by Elisa method. Methods and Materials: Blood samples from 131 referred patients for detection of H.pylori antibodies were taken and serum was separated to detect of IgM, IgG and IgA antibodies. IgG was assessed by EIU units (42 was positive). Also for IgM and IgA antibodies reported by U/ml (12 was positive). Results: One hundred and thirty one samples (78 female and 53 male) were tested for H.pylori IgM, IgG and IgA antibodies and showed 27.48%, 42% and 25.19% positive for IgM, IgG and IgA antibodies, respectively. The age group was between 20-40 years old for IgM, IgG and IgA antibodies 23.3% and 28.3% and 16.7 % positive respectively and for 41-80 years old IgM, IgG and IgA antibodies were 31%, 53.5% and 32.4% respectively. The above mentioned data showed infection was higher at 41 – 80 year-old patients. Conclusion: Simple methods for detection of H.pylori antibodies are available commercially and have sensitivity and specificity for H.pylori diseases. IgM, IgG and IgA have diagnostic importance i.e IgG for prognosis and IgM for detection of acut infection of diseases, therefore regarding acceptable sensitivity and specificity, ease of work with Elisa, being economical and non invasive, it can be employed in diagnosis of H.pylori infections.}, Keywords = {Helicobacter pylori, Antibodies, Elisa}, volume = {4}, Number = {2}, pages = {53-61}, publisher = {Urmia University of Medical Sciences}, url = {http://unmf.umsu.ac.ir/article-1-13-en.html}, eprint = {http://unmf.umsu.ac.ir/article-1-13-en.pdf}, journal = {Nursing And Midwifery Journal}, issn = {2717-0306}, eissn = {2717-0306}, year = {2006} } @article{ author = {Amirzadeh, J. and Amirzadeh, N. and VazifeAsl, M.}, title = {STUDY ON PREVENTION OF HEPATITIS B IN PREGNANT WOMEN LIVING IN URBAN POPULATION LAB OF URMIA TO PROMOTE FAMILY HEALTH}, abstract ={ Introduction: Hepatitis B virus can result in malignant syndromes such as acute hepatitis. 5-10% of infected adults suffer from chronic hepatitis. In developing countries transition from mother to newborn is one of the most important routs of transmission. Thus researchers observed this review to obtain effectiveness of Hepatitis in Urmia city’s population lab. Methods and Materials: The main goal of this semi experimental review is to quantify effectiveness of lectures in education. Fifty-two randomly chosen pregnant women were the samples of this review. They were educated using lectures and were examed about their previous knowledge. The instrument used for this research was a questionnaire also statistical results were analysed using SPSS and the mean value for the variance was T test.  Results: The results showed that the awareness of samples were low and education was effective. (P=0.000) and there was no relation between the number of pregnancy and awareness. Conclusion: As women have an important role in improvement of family health, an most of them should be completely educated on hepatitis.}, Keywords = {Hepatitis B, Pregnant women, Education}, volume = {4}, Number = {2}, pages = {60-67}, publisher = {Urmia University of Medical Sciences}, url = {http://unmf.umsu.ac.ir/article-1-14-en.html}, eprint = {http://unmf.umsu.ac.ir/article-1-14-en.pdf}, journal = {Nursing And Midwifery Journal}, issn = {2717-0306}, eissn = {2717-0306}, year = {2006} } @article{ author = {Jafarizadeh, H. and Maddah, S. and Norozi, K. and Rahgozar, M.}, title = {ASSESSMENT OF HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF FRAIL ELDERLIES IN 13TH DISTRICT OF TEHRAN AND THEIR CAREGIVERS’ PROBLEMS IN 2005}, abstract ={}, Keywords = {Frail elderly, Health care needs, Care givers}, volume = {4}, Number = {2}, pages = {67-81}, publisher = {Urmia University of Medical Sciences}, url = {http://unmf.umsu.ac.ir/article-1-15-en.html}, eprint = {http://unmf.umsu.ac.ir/article-1-15-en.pdf}, journal = {Nursing And Midwifery Journal}, issn = {2717-0306}, eissn = {2717-0306}, year = {2006} } @article{ author = {Yousefi, R. and Namdari, K. and Adhamian, E.}, title = {A COMPARISON OF DEPRESSION AND OCCUPATIONAL STRESS IN PSYCHIATRICS AND NON PSYCHIATRICS UNIT NURSES AND OFFICIAL EMPLOYEES}, abstract ={ Introduction: Depression and stress are the most prevalent problems among nurses. The subjects were assessed with beck depression and occupational stress questionners. Result: In this study, there was no significant difference between psychiatrics and non Psychiatrics unit nurses and official employees for depression level. The objective of this study is to determine the role of the consultation in mental health of patients.  Methods and Materials: In this semi-experimental study 200 pregnant women who referred to Urmia Health Center in 2002-2004 were randomly divided into two groups of 100. The case group received consultation from a midwife in prenatal period. Finally on the 9th month of pregnancy the mental health of the case group was compared with the control group. Results: The results showed that 81% of pregnant women in case group before consultation in thirth Trimester of pregnancy and 80% of them after consultation in first Trimester and 93% of them in third Trimester of pregnancy were in usual range.
