  Received: 22 Feb , 2014 Accepted: 30 Apr , 2014   Abstract   Background & Aims : Postpartum depression is a common psychiatric disorder which can create serious problems for the mother and infant. The aim of this study was to assess the relationship between primiparous depression and anxiety, and stress in after normal vaginal delivery.      Materials & Methods : 100 post-partum women of Arefian hospital were selected by random sampling method to be included in the study. Primiparous women’s rate of depression, stress, and anxiety were used for data collection.   DASS questionnaire was used as the instrument of data collection.
