 The role of organizational learning on accountability and job performance of medical staff  Hassani M[1]*  Received: 1 Oct , 2014 Accepted: 1 Dec , 2014  Abstract  Background & Aims: Establishing accountable and effective organizations has recently attracted attention of public agents in many countries. Realizing the importance and utilization of the organizational learning role can make tremendous impact on this process and, it can help the governments to attain the goals of the system. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational learning and accountability as well as job performance among staff of Oshnaviyeh hospital.  Materials & Methods: In terms of research methodology, this study is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population includes all staff of Oshnaviyeh hospital 315 employee in 2014. According to Krejcie and Morgan table, 180 employees were selected as study sample and appropriateness of sample size was confirmed according to statistical power (greater than .8) and significance level (near 0) in hypotheses analysis. Sampling method was stratified random sampling meaning respondents were chosen randomly and in proportionate manner regarding number of the employees of each ward.  Results: Results of correlation analysis and multiple regressions revealed that the relationship between the variables of organizational learning, accountability, organizational learning and job performance were significant.    Conclusion: Organizational Learning is an effective factor to improve the job performance and accountability for medical staff it could serve as predictor for those variables, too.  Keywords: Learning, Organizational Learning (OL), Accountability, Job performance  Address: Department of Education, Faculty of Literature and Humanities, Urmia University  Tel:(+98) 4433364500  Email: mhs_105@yahoo.com   [1]Department of Educational Management, University of Urmia, Iran (Corresponding Author)
