The first part of the questionnaire consisted of questions about the demographic characteristics and the second part included five-point Likert scale questions concerning the viewpoint of nurses. Data were analyzed using SPSS software and descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The results of this study showed that the mean age of students was 23.31 ± 4.43. The range of occupational features with a mean of 3.62 ± 1. 1 was the highest and the clinical conditions of the patient with an average score of 3.7 ± 1/3 were the lowest. The average score for the presence of barriers was3.35 ±1.1, indicating that the score was moderate to high (average of2.5), and the barriers of communication between the nurse and the patient were strong from the viewpoint of the students. Conclusion: Occupational factors have the greatest impact on barriers to effective communication. Educational and therapeutic departments should reduce or minimize these factors in order to improve this relationship and ultimately improve the quality of nursing education.
