Results: The average score of students' interest in their field was 42.34 out of 54 points. Most students (73.6%) were interested in their field of study. There was a significant difference between age, field, transfer with the interest in the field. Among the other items of the questionnaire, “the position of the field in society” was one of the influential factors, while the item “I chose my field with full knowledge” had the weakest role. Conclusion: Interest scores were relatively lower in older students. Among other paramedical disciplines, health information technology students showed the least interest. Due to the effect of interest in the field of study on students' motivation, academic performance, snd their performance in the clinic, it is necessary for officials to develop programs to Improve the labor market and the material and spiritual status of various fields of medical sciences.
