Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the effect of health education based on health belief model on blood factors in anemic pregnant mothers. Materials & Methods: The present study was an interventional study with pre-test and post-test control group. Subjects were selected from 90 pregnant women with low hemoglobin levels below 11 mg / dl (6-10 weeks) (45 subjects, 45 controls) were randomly assigned to health centers in Urmia. The data collection tool was demographic information questionnaire. Initially, a pre-test was conducted and then, educational-based sessions were conducted in the intervention group. Blood hemoglobin levels were measured in the first two groups according to the CBC request of the center, the second one month after the intervention and the third time in the weeks 30-26. The collected data were related to blood factors and questionnaires in two the data were analyzed using SPSS-20 software, independent t-test, paired t-test and Chi-square test.
