The aim of this study was to determine the effects of cardiac rehabilitation (CR) and relaxation therapy (RT) on anxiety and depression in patients with cardiac syndrome x.   Materials & Methods: This research is a Randomized Clinical Trial study. 40 patients were chosen according to none randomized method, and then randomly divided into four groups as control, RT, CR, CR+RT groups. Data were collected through the demographic information questionnaire and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale. Group CR performed phase III CR exercise, group RT performed progressive muscle relaxation and group CR+RT performed combination of exercise and relaxation for eight weeks.
