Background & Aims: Psychological variables associated with burnout, stress due to the nursing profession is important. This study examines the relationship between practice of religious beliefs, resiliency and self-efficacy and burnout in nurses. Materials & Methods: The population of the study consisted of all male and female nurses working in Taleghani, Baqiyatallah and Imam Khomeini hospitals in Tehran in 2014, from which a sample of 180 were selected through available sampling method. Questionnaire to collect data for the study of religious orientation, Connor and Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RIS), self-efficacy scale (GSE), Maslach Burnout Inventory responded (MBI).
