Background & Aims: The use of Response to Intervention approach for supporting of children's learning and development has captured the attention of educators, researchers, and policy makers. Therefore, The goals of present research are adapting the “Care for Child Development “program based on the Response to intervention and Determining its validity. Material & Methods: This study is a mixed method (qualitative-quantitative). The statistical population was all of the documents and experts related to the research topic. The data were collected using purposive and snowball sampling method. Interview, review of documents and researcher-made questionnaire. The analysis of the data obtained from the documents was done using inductive content analysis method and in the quantitative section, using descriptive statistical methods. Results: According to the content analysis, five steps including the analysis of the program and target groups, the determination of the dimensions and components of the new program, the introduction of the new program, the initial assessment and validation, were identified for adaptation. Based on these five steps, the adaptation program was carried out.The content validity index for the whole program was 0.93 and its reliability was 0.95. Conclusion: Quantitative and qualitative indicators showed that the proposed program had the proper validation features and could be considered as an applicable program in the health programs of Iran.
