مراقبین خانوادگی در سرطان: تجربیات، توانمندی‌ها و راهکارها

پیش‌زمینه و هدف: تشخیص سرطان، علاوه بر تأثیراتی که بر روی بیماران دارد، به‌طور قابل‌توجهی زندگی اعضای خانواده را نیز تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد. مراقبین خانواده با چالش‌هایی متعدد مواجه هستند که نیازمند توانمندسازی و پشتیبانی از طرف پرسنل بهداشتی هستند. برای این منظور، شناسایی تجربیات مراقبتی از دیدگاه خانواده‌ها، به‌منظور توانمندسازی آن‌ها برای مقابله با بیماری و مشکلات مربوطه، امری ضروری است. با توجه به فرهنگ و باورهای مختلف در جوامع شرقی و مسلمان، تجربیات مراقبتی در این خانواده‌ها ممکن است متفاوت باشد و به دلیل فقدان شفافیت، شناخت این تجربیات، مسئله‌ای حیاتی است. در نتیجه، هدف این مطالعه، کشف تجربیات مراقبتی و توانمندی اعضای خانواده بیماران مبتلا به سرطان در ایران است.
مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه کیفی به روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند و با استفاده از مصاحبه‌های نیمه‌ساختاری انجام شد. در ابتدا، با توجه به هدف مطالعه، مشارکت‌کنندگان به‌صورت هدفمند انتخاب شدند و سپس با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری تئوریک، نمونه‌هایی که به نظر محققین بیشترین اطلاعات را ارائه می‌دهند، برای ورود به مطالعه انتخاب شدند. درنهایت، با استفاده از روش تحلیل محتوای مرسوم، داده‌های جمع‌آوری‌شده تحلیل و موردبررسی قرار گرفتند.
یافته‌ها: در این مطالعه، تجربیات اعضای خانواده در مراقبت از بیمار مبتلا به سرطان در طبقات اصلی و زیر طبقات به شرح زیر شناسایی گردید: 1-تسکین با استمداد از معنویات: "تسلیم اراده خداوند"- "باور و تکیه بر اعتقادات معنوی"، 2-تغییر ادراک و تفکر درمانی مراقبین خانواده: "امید بهبودی و به دست آوردن راه‌حل‌های مناسب" - "تغییر نگرش و دیدگاه نسبت به بیماری با توجه به تأثیربخشی درمان و مراقبت‌ها"، و 3-پشتیبانی اجتماعی درمانی: "حمایت خانواده و دوستان" - "بهبود کیفیت مراقبت از بیمار سرطانی در خانواده " - "دریافت بازخورد و انگیزه‌بخشی از بیمار".
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: مراقبین خانواده در سرطان در مواجه با این بیماری به دنبال تمامی راهکارهای ممکن هستند تا توانایی و آگاهی لازم برای مراقبت از بیمار را کسب کنند. درک و شناخت تجربیات مراقبتی اعضای خانواده به‌عنوان مراقبین غیررسمی می‌تواند به برنامه‌ریزی، مشاوره و مداخلات مبتنی بر شواهد کمک کند و این افراد را در مواجهه با چالش‌های سرطان قوی‌تر و مؤثرتر کند. در نتیجه، شناخت و توجه به تجربیات این افراد می‌تواند در بهبود کیفیت مراقبت و پشتیبانی از بیمار و خانواده‌اش نقش مهمی ایفا کند.
