پیش‌زمینه و هدف: با توجه به اهمیت سلامت کودکان و پیشگیری از سوءاستفاده جنسی به‌ویژه در دختران، آموزش‌های لازم در زمینه سلامت باروری برای آن‌ها یک اولویت مهم به‌حساب می‌آید. هدف از این مطالعه، بررسی تأثیر آموزش پیشگیری از سوءاستفاده جنسی به مادران بر دانش و مهارت‌های ایمنی شخصی دختران 7 تا 10 ساله بود.
مواد و روش کار: این یک مطالعه نیمه تجربی به‌صورت موازی بر ۷۲ جفت مادر و دختر در دو گروه مداخله (36 نفر) و گروه کنترل (36 نفر) بود که در سال 1401 انجام شد. شرکت‌کنندگان از یک مرکز بهداشتی وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی ایران که دارای شرایط تحقیق بود، انتخاب شدند. مادران دارای دختر واجد شرایط به‌صورت تصادفی به دو گروه مذکور، تخصیص داده شدند. مداخله شامل شش جلسه یک‌ساعته، دو بار در هفته، و به مدت سه هفته برای گروه مداخله بود. گروه کنترل نیز در سه جلسه و هفته‌ایی یک بار تحت آموزش قرار گرفتند. در هفته‌های چهارم و هشتم بعد از مداخله، دانش، نگرش و مهارت ایمنی شخصی دختران با استفاده از پرسشنامه‌ “Personal Safety Questionnaire”، و پرسشنامه “the What If Situations Test” با در نظر گرفتن چهار حیطه‌ی آن یعنی (WIST Say)، (WIST Do)، (WIST Report) و (WIST Tell) اندازه‌گیری شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون تی مستقل، کای دو، آزمون مان-ویتنی یو، آنکووا، واریانس، و اندازه‌گیری‌های مکرر تجزیه‌وتحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: دانش دختران در گروه مداخله در چهار هفته بعد (۰۰۱/۰p <) و در هشت هفته بعد از مداخله (۰۰۱/۰p <) تفاوت معنی‌داری نشان داد. افزایش معناداری در شناسایی درخواست‌های لمس مناسب در گروه مداخله در مقایسه با گروه کنترل پس از چهار هفته (۰۱۷/۰p <) و هشت هفته از مداخله (۰۰۱/۰p<) وجود داشت. تفاوت در دانش و نگرش دختران گروه مداخله در شناسایی درخواست‌های لمس نامناسب در هشت هفته بعد وجود داشت (۰۲۱/۰p <) ولی در چهار هفته بعد، معنی‌دار نبود. میانگین کلی نمره در مهارت ایمنی شخصی برای تشخیص درخواست‌های لمس نامناسب و همچنین چهار حیطه‌ی آن که شامل حیطه‌ی نه گفتن به فرد مخاطی (WIST Say)؛ حیطه‌ی مهارت در عمل برای دور شدن و یا فریاد زدن در موقعیت خطر (WIST Do)، حیطه‌ی مهارت گزارش کردن درخواست نامناسب (WIST Report) و حیطه‌ی مطلع کردن فردی از خانواده و یا آشنای مورداطمینان از درخواست نامناسب (WIST Tell) بود، افزایش معناداری در دو زمان پیگیری بین دو گروه به وجود آمده بود (001/0p <  برای هر دو زمان).
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: آموزش‌های پیشگیری از سوءاستفاده جنسی به مادران در افزایش دانش، مهارت‌های ایمنی و مهارت‌های شناسایی لمس‌های مناسب و نامناسب دختران ۷ تا ۱۰ ساله مؤثر بود. ازآنجاکه این مطالعه در شناسایی درخواست‌های لمس نامناسب در مدت کوتاه 4 هفته بعد متفاوت نبود. توصیه می‌شود، محتوی مداخله در این قسمت آموزشی با توجه به سطح دانش و مهارت ایمنی شخصی دختران دانش آموزش 3 پایه اول دبستان بازبینی شود و مداخله در این زمینه با دقت و مدت‌زمان بیشتری انجام شود.
