Background & Aims: Drug mistakes are a potentially hazardous event for patient safety, especially in children, which requires special attention from care providers due to the high level of damage. From both groups, pre-test and post-test were performed by a researcher-made questionnaire to assess the level of knowledge and attitude about the prevention of drug errors. A researcher-made checklist was used to determine the level of performance. Validity and reliability of the tools were confirmed. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 21. Results: The samples were matched according to the variables of age, sex, pharmacology score and total mean. Before the training, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the mean score of knowledge and attitude (P>0.05), but after the intervention, the attitude was positive in the intervention group and the level of knowledge was good, with the average of the scores of the variables in the test group increased significantly (P
