پیش‌زمینه و هدف: خودکارآمدی مدیریت صحیح درد و هوش هیجانی از مهم‌ترین مسئولیت‌های پرستاران است که اگر به‌درستی موردتوجه قرار گیرد باعث کاهش درد بیماران، مدیریت بهتر بیماران، افزایش کیفیت مراقبت بیماران، برگشت سریع بیمار به زندگی روزمره، کاهش مدت اقامت در بیمارستان و همچنین کاهش هزینه‌های درمانی را به دنبال دارد. لذا مطالعه حاضر باهدف تعیین خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد و ارتباط آن با هوش هیجانی در پرستاران انجام شد.
مواد و روش کار: مطالعه حاضر از نوع مقطعی بود که بر روی 110 نفر از پرستاران بخش‌های داخلی و جراحی، عفونی، CCU، ICU، کودکان و اورژانس در شیفت‌های صبح، عصر و شب بیمارستان‌های رازی و صلاح‌الدین شهرستان بانه (ایران) به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انجام شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه دموگرافیک، پرسشنامه خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد و پرسشنامه هوش هیجانی گلمن توسط پژوهشگر گردآوری شد. نتایج با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 25 و آمار توصیفی و آزمون‌های تی تست مستقل، آنالیز واریانس یک‌طرفه و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون تحلیل شد. سطح معناداری برابر 5 درصد در نظر گرفته شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج مطالعه نشان داد که خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد با مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی پرستاران از قبیل سن، جنسیت، تأهل، سطح تحصیلات، سمت، اضافه‌کاری، سابقه کاری و وضعیت استخدام ارتباط معناداری نداشت (05/0<P). ولی بین خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد و ابعاد آن با متغیرهای بخش محل خدمت و کارگاه آموزشی و نیز بین خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد و بعد ارزیابی درد رابطه معنی‌داری وجود داشت (05/0>P). متغیر هوش هیجانی با مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی پرستاران از قبیل سن، جنسیت، تأهل، سطح تحصیلات، بخش محل خدمت، سمت، اضافه‌کاری، سابقه کاری، وضعیت استخدام و شرکت در کارگاه‌های آموزشی ارتباط معناداری نداشت (05/0<P). همچنین بین خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد با هوش هیجانی پرستاران تفاوت معنی‌داری مشاهده نگردید (05/0<P).
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس نتایج این مطالعه هرچند که خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد با هوش هیجانی پرستاران ارتباط معناداری نداشت، اما بعضی از مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی آن‌ها ارتباط معناداری داشت. این نشان‌دهنده تأثیر تجارب کاری، آگاهی، دانش مؤثر و نگرش مثبت، داشتن مهارت بر افزایش خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد است.

بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس نتایج این مطالعه هرچند که خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد با هوش هیجانی پرستاران ارتباط معناداری نداشت، اما بعضی از مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی آن‌ها ارتباط معناداری داشت. این نشان‌دهنده تأثیر تجارب کاری، آگاهی، دانش مؤثر و نگرش مثبت، داشتن مهارت بر افزایش خودکارآمدی مدیریت درد است.
