پیشزمینه و هدف: پرستاران بزرگترین مؤلفه سرمایه انسانی در سیستمهای مراقبتهای بهداشتی، به دلیل ماهیت شغلی خود نیازمند برخورداری از مهارتهایی هستند که بتواند در ارائه با کیفیت مراقبتها به آنان کمک نماید. هوش هیجانی بهعنوان یک توانایی فردی نسبتاً ثابت و یک ویژگی مهم برای عملکرد پرستاری شناخته میشود. مطالعه حاضر باهدف تعیین ارتباط هوش هیجانی با عملکرد شغلی و استرس شغلی در پرستاران انجام شد.
مواد و روشها: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه کمی با رویکرد توصیفی از نوع مقطعی- همبستگی میباشد که بر روی 300 نفر از پرستاران شاغل در مراکز آموزشی و درمانی شهر ارومیه انجام شد. ابزار جمعآوری دادهها مشتمل بر پرسشنامه هوش هیجانی سیبریاشرینگ، عملکرد شغلی پاترسون و استرس شغلی در پرستاران بود. پس از تکمیل پرسشنامهها، دادهها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و تحلیلی و با کمک نرمافزار SPSS 20 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافتهها:
یافتههای مطالعه نشان داد میانگین نمره هوش هیجانی پرستاران در این مطالعه برابر با 78/107 بود که حاکی از میزان هوش هیجانی خوب در آنان بود. میانگین نمره استرس شغلی نیز برابر با 10/77 بود که نمایانگر استرس شغلی متوسط در آنان و میانگین نمره عملکرد شغلی در آنها 62/37 به دست آمد که بیانگر عملکرد شغلی بسیار خوب در میان پرستاران مورد مطالعه ما بود. بررسی تحلیلی وجود ارتباط معنیدار بین عملکرد شغلی پرستاران و هوش هیجانی (P= 0.000) و همچنین استرس شغلی (P= 0.000) در پرستاران را تائید نمود.
بحث و نتیجهگیری: از آنجائیکه برخورداربودن از هوش هیجانی بهعنوان یک مهارت مهم و قائل آموزش در شاغلین حرفه پرستاری بشمار میآید، این مهارت میتواند استرس شغلی افراد را کاهش داده و عملکرد شغلی آنان را ارتقاء و بهبود بخشد. بنابراین توصیه میشود که سیاستگذاران و برنامه ریزان آموزشی حرفه پرستاری در جهت گنجاندن آموزش این مهارت در کوریکولولوم آموزشی پرستاری و یا دورههای ضمن خدمت پرستاران، در جهت ارتقاء این مهارت در جهت کاهش فشار و استرس کاری پرسنل پرستاری، افزایش عملکرد و نهایتاً ارائه مراقبتهای با کیفیت به بیماران و افزایش رضایتمندی آنان کوشا باشند.
