پیش‌زمینه و هدف: افزایش هزینه‌های درمان سرطان در ایران و رشد تک‌فرزندی، والدین را بیش‌ازپیش تحت فشارهای ناشی از مراقبت از کودک دچار سرطان قرار داده است که دراین‌بین افسردگی از شایع‌ترین پیامدهاست. افزایش شفقت با توجه به نقش محافظتی آن در برابر آسیب‌های روانی، می‌تواند در حفظ سلامت روان والدین این کودکان سودمند باشد. پژوهش حاضر باهدف تعیین رابطه بین فشار مراقبتی و افسردگی در والدین کودکان مبتلا به سرطان با نقش تعدیل‌کنندگی شفقت به خود، انجام شد.
مواد و روش کار: روش پژوهش توصیفی و از نوع مقطعی-همبستگی و جامعه آماری آن، والدین کودکان مبتلا به سرطان زیر ۱۸ سال بود. با روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس ۳۷۶ نفر از والدین، از بیمارستان‌های محک، بهرامی، مفید و میلاد، پرسشنامه‌های فشار مراقبتی نواک و گست (CBI)، فرم کوتاه افسردگی بک (BDI-II) و فرم کوتاه شفقت به خود ریس و همکاران را تکمیل کردند. تحلیل نتایج با استفاده از نرم‌افزارهای spss-27 و smart pls-3 انجام شد. روابط بین متغیرها با آزمون همبستگی پیرسون و مدل پژوهش با استفاده از فن معادلات ساختاری به روش حداقل مجذورات جزئی (pls) ارزیابی شد.
یافته‌ها: با تحلیل
یافته‌ها تأثیر فشار مراقبتی بر افسردگی (05/0>p) و تأثیر شفقت به خود بر افسردگی (05/0>p) در والدین کودکان مبتلا به سرطان تأیید شد. همچنین یافته‌ها نشان داد بین شفقت به خود و فشار مراقبتی رابطه وجود دارد (05/0>p). درنهایت اثر تعدیل گری شفقت به خود در رابطه بین فشار مراقبتی و افسردگی تأیید شد که شدت اثر تعدیل گری برابر با 122/0- و جهت تعدیل گری منفی بود (05/0>p). بر این اساس مشخص شد شفقت به خود می‌تواند در کاهش تأثیر فشار مراقبتی بر افسردگی مؤثر باشد.
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: از یافته‌های این پژوهش می‌توان نتیجه گرفت که شفقت به خود با کاهش ادراکات منفی در طول مراقبت از فرزند مبتلا به سرطان، کاهش علائم افسردگی را تسهیل می‌کند. بنابراین ارائه‌ی روان‌درمانی مبتنی بر شفقت به خود، در مراکز درمانی سرطان می‌تواند در کاهش فشار مراقبتی و افسردگی در والدین کودکان مبتلا به سرطان مؤثر باشد.
