پیش‌زمینه و هدف: منبع کنترل به‌عنوان میزان کنترل افراد بر وقایعی که در زندگی آنان اتفاق می‌افتد و خودکارآمدی تحصیلی که باور یا اطمینان فرد به توانایی‌هایش برای دستیابی به موفقیت را نشان می‌دهد بر برنامه‌ریزی‌های دانشگاهی و بسیاری از جنبه‌های رفتاری دانشجویان تأثیر دارد. لذا پژوهش حاضر باهدف تعیین ارتباط بین منبع کنترل با خودکارآمدی تحصیلی دانشجویان دانشکده پرستاری دانشگاه علوم پزشکی گناباد در سال 1403 انجام شد.
مواد و روش کار: این مطالعه توصیفی - مقطعی در سال 1403 بر روی 217 نفر از دانشجویان پرستاری دانشگاه علوم پزشکی گناباد انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات در این مطالعه، دو پرسشنامه منبع کنترل راتر و خودکارآمدی تحصیلی اون و فرامن است. برای تحلیل داده‌ها از آزمون ضریب همبستگی و تی استودنت استفاده شد. در این مطالعه (05/0P < ) معنادار در نظر گرفته شد.
یافته‌ها: منبع کنترل بیرونی در بین دانشجویان پسر نسبت به دانشجویان دختر بالاتر است و بین منبع کنترل و خودکارآمدی تحصیلی در بررسی آزمون پیرسون رابطه معنادار و منفی وجود دارد (001/0= p). آزمون تی مستقل نیز نشان داد که منبع کنترل در بین دو جنس تفاوت معنی‌داری نداشت (920/0= p) همچنین خودکارآمدی تحصیلی در بین دو جنس تفاوت معنی‌داری نداشت (251/0= p).
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: منبع کنترل پیش‌بینی‌کننده معنادار و منفی خودکارآمدی تحصیلی است. بنابراین پیشنهاد می‌شود جهت تقویت خودکارآمدی تحصیلی دانشجویان در برنامه‌ریزی‌های دانشگاه به اتخاذ راهبردهایی برای منبع کنترل درونی در دانشجویان توجه ویژه شود.
