پیش‌زمینه و هدف: زنان باردار نخست‌زا با سطوح بالایی از اضطراب سلامت و ترس از زایمان مواجه‌اند. لذا، انجام مداخلات باهدف کاهش اضطراب سلامت و ترس از زایمان در این زنان مهم است. بنابراین پژوهش حاضر باهدف تعیین اثربخشی آموزش مثبت اندیشی بر اضطراب سلامت و ترس از زایمان در زنان باردار نخست‌زا انجام شد.
مواد و روش کار: پژوهش حاضر از نوع نیمه تجربی با طرح پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون با گروه کنترل بود. جامعه آماری پژوهش حاضر شامل کلیه زنان بارداری بودند که به‌منظور دریافت مراقبت‌های بارداری در بازه اسفند 1400 تا اردیبهشت 1401 به مراکز درمانی شهر قم مراجعه کردند. ازاین‌بین، زنانی که دارای نمره اضطراب سلامت و ترس از زایمان بالاتری بودند، 40 نفر به روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب‌شده و به‌صورت تصادفی در دو گروه مداخله و کنترل (هر گروه 20 نفر) قرار گرفتند. گروه مداخله در 8 جلسه 90 دقیقه‌ای تحت بسته آموزشی مثبت اندیشی سرینی و صیادی قرار گرفتند و گروه کنترل در این زمان آموزشی دریافت نکردند. پرسشنامه‌های اضطراب سلامت سالکووسکیس و وارویک و ترس از زایمان هارمن ابزار پژوهش بودند. از آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس در نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه 26 جهت تحلیل داده‌ها استفاده شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج تحلیل کوواریانس نشان داد آموزش مثبت‏ اندیشی بر اضطراب سلامت (94/58=F؛ 001/0>P) و ترس از زایمان (9/96=F؛ 003/0>P) زنان باردار نخست‌زا اثربخش بوده است. میانگین نمرات اضطراب سلامت و ترس از زایمان زنان باردار نخست‌زایی که تحت آموزش مثبت اندیشی قرار گرفتند، در پس‌آزمون نسبت به پیش‌آزمون، کاهش معناداری داشته است (001/0>P).
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج پژوهش حاکی از آن است که آموزش مثبت اندیشی بر اضطراب سلامت و ترس از زایمان در زنان باردار نخست‌زا اثربخش بوده است؛ بنابراین انجام مداخلات مبتنی بر آموزش مثبت اندیشی جهت کاهش مشکلات روان‌شناختی زنان باردار به‌ویژه زنان باردار نخست‌زایی که با ترس از زایمان و اضطراب سلامت دست‌وپنجه نرم می‌کنند، مهم و ضروری به نظر می‌رسد.
